Buying or selling a house is a very stressful potentially traumatic experience. This is probably due to the large sums of money involved, not to mention the pressure of our expectations. Also, very few of us buy and sell houses on a regular basis. Many people may only buy the one house in their whole lifetime.
There is lots of information out there on buying and selling houses, however, as good as looking at internet sites, you can't beat a face to face chat. The people whom you are most likely to be talking to a lot are the Estate Agent, your solicitor and an Independant Financial Advisor who will refer you to a lender. Listen to all their advice carefully, but remember, nobodies situation is identical. What might be right for some might not be right for you.
